We were back in the Motion Capture suit today, this time to bust out some 70's disco moves for the new Duran Duran track "All of you" video.

The brief was to create a futuristic cyborg girl who disco danced her way into the song from starting off as rigid out of time robot and into 70's disco queen by the end.

We used xsens to record multiple takes of different dance moves and tweaked these motions with an additive body rig in unreal's sequencer. We also used facial capture and additive facial rig on the metahuman face.

We had so much fun using real-time re-targeting and virtual camera's to shoot the video and it really gave us the sense of traditional hands on shooting to the production. We're going to start using multiple suits soon on another project and cant wait to see how this works.

Our final post fx and edit was done in Da Vinci Resolve and the final versions are still being expanded on. We look forward to showing everyone the final release early next year.
